Rent and utility assistance for short-term financial emergencies is available in-person for low-income Mecklenburg County residents at 500-A Spratt St, Monday - Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

What you need to bring:

Photo ID

Social Security Documentation (SS Card, W2)

Proof of Income (In the past 30 days)

Past Due Rent Notices or Court Documents

Current Membership Agreement (Rental Agreement)
*You can find your past due balance and rental agreement in your AppFolio portal.

*If you are unable to apply in person due to medical reasons, you may call in.

Good Fellows Club

You must acquire a referral from a social worker- Department of Social Services, school social worker, or a health based social worker.

If you do not have a social worker you can reach out to any of the referring

partners on their website: www.goodfellowsclub.org

What you need to bring:

Proof of Income (In the past 30 days)

Past Due Rent Notices or Court Documents

Only for Mecklenburg County Residents & Tenancy Over 60 Days.
*You can find your past due balance and rental agreement in your AppFolio portal.

*Assistance is limited to once per year, per person.

Money Borrowing & Early Payday Apps

Please be advised that the money-borrowing apps provided as financial resources are loans or advances that must be repaid to the individual app or financial service provider.

Eligibility is generally based on factors such as income, employment, banking activity, and other requirements established by the provider.

The apps are shared solely as financial assistance options that we may recommend when a member is experiencing a temporary financial need. Members are responsible for reviewing terms, requirements, repayment schedule, fees, and other conditions before choosing to borrow money.
